Energy, exergy, thermoeconomic and sustainability assessment of tire pyrolysis oil in common rail direct injection diesel engine

Waste to fuel conversion has attracted prominence due higher demand, waste disposal issues, and environmental economic impact. Therefore, an alternative approach for addressing the issue of tire can be provided by using pyrolysis oil (TPO). The energy, exergy, thermoeconomic sustainability studies TPO-diesel blends were carried out in this study. analysis was compared with biodiesel-diesel blended pure diesel. DP10 (Diesel 90%-TPO 10%), DB10 90%-Biodiesel neat diesel are used experimental four-cylinder engine perform experiments at different crankshaft speeds ranges 1000–3500 rpm increment 500 rpm. results reveal that 3000 rpm, shows highest energy exergy efficiency, 37.12% 39.60%, respectively, D100. study indicates produced lowest losses provides index, demonstrating is most sustainable D100 DB10. It concluded best results, it appropriate use turbocharged common-rail direct injection engine.
